Radical media: CIPER

One of the Radical Media that I'm following is "Centro de Investigación Periodistica" (CIPER) from Chile. I like this journal because is a real option to know reliable information. All journalistic publication of this journal are informed with sources of public and private archives. In generel their investigations are focus to persecute the establishment power. Every week they publish their articles about all kind of topics, they harass powerful people in political office mainly. CIPEr is my favourite radical media than other similar for its investigative tidiness. In fact, I recomend this radical media, if you want know the other side of the coin.

Let's be more empathic

I went to meet with my girlfriend when suddenly I saw inmigrants from Ecuador, in their family group. They were selling clothes in the public street between Manuel Montt Subway Station and Providencia avenue. Mother and son were waiting to sell out their products, but nothing happened. I picture their lives crossing from Ecuador to Chile, passing from Perú, Atacama Desert, and a lot of thousands kilometers to arrive in our country searching for a better life.

Our reality is this, an opportunity country. The Chilean people need to be more understanding with our migrants because they are in a vulnerable situation..

"Historias Extremas"

“Historias Extremas” written by the Argentinian Federico Bianchini is a compilation of ten interviews with athletes. The writing skill of Bianchini make each story full of emotions and places easy to imagine.

There is a fascination with the author for writing about nautical sport. Particulary the story about high perfomance swim stand out in the book. Other sports covered in the book include athletics andmountaineering. Also a story about a rescueman. All this coverage is only for extreme people.

It easy and fast to read. It has an intelligent use of questions and answers to create catching stories. This book is recomendable for those who search fresh journalistic writings. Also it takes other topics like politics, family and society. In my opinion, is not usual to interesting sport interviews in the newspaper. I recomended this book for extreme sports fans. 

Federico is exposed his obsession about stories of tenacity, dedication and suffering, all rewarded at the end of way.
